Location Los Angeles

Farmers’ Market and The Grove

There are a lot of things to see and do in Los Angeles but if you want to see how the locals live you might want to check out Farmers Market and The Grove. You might hear about Sunset Boulevard and Rodeo Drive more, but this is a great place to spend your time in the area as you can do a lot without going very far.

The Farmers' Market is just what it sounds like, a local farmers' market. But, this isn't just any farmers' market, this is one that is well known and many locals come to for all of their fresh fruits and vegetables. This market is open every day and you may want to spend an hour here just browsing and checking out all of the wonderful things that you could buy, and perhaps should buy while you are in the area. After seeing all that is available you may want to indulge in some local produce while in Los Angeles. The Farmers' Market has been around since 1934 and has never been more popular, in fact it is one of the most popular locations in all of Los Angeles.

The Grove

Oddly enough, The Farmers' Market is located right next to The Grove, which is a large shopping complex, among other things. You can find places to shop, eat, and simply be entertained at The Grove. The area features a movie theatre, a trolley that links The Grove to The Farmers' Market, a fountain that is choreographed to music and lights, and so much more. These two places are definitely a great place to shop, eat, and mingle with locals, if you are interested in these activities.
